Adapted from Hans Christian Anderson’s The Story of a Mother this tale reveals a little girl stuck in the hospital from a terminal illness. Secretively under the ever watchful eye of her worried mother she meets with Death. As an argument ensues over who knows what is best for the little girl she finally speaks up and chooses her own path. Showing that in cases of illness we often forget to ask the person going through it what they truly want for our own needs.
